 Marilyn's tallit 
Marilyn, an adult Bat Mitzvah, wanted Jerusalem on her tallit. The body is an off white dupioni, and the city is made up of about 30 different snippets of silk and cotton fabric.

Monica's tallit
Monica, another adult Bat Mitzvah, wanted her Torah Portion (2 stories of Moses) displayed on her tallit.  The body is a blue dupioni, and the scene is created with cotton and silk applique.

Sam wanted a man blowing a shofar with notes floating out above Jerusalem. He wanted earth tones, and nothing too bright. 

Emma's Tallit

Emma lives locally, so spent a lot of time here designing her own tallit. She knew that she wanted a swirly tree with flowers and butterflies

Emily designed a beautiful brown dupioni tree with appliquéd flowers of various shades of pink cotton prints, all on a gorgeous supple white silk. Her turquoise stripes near the bottom matched her atarah and corners.

Aaron's tallit is from the Torah Portion B’reshit, and depicts the first 4 days of creation.

Matthew's tallit 

Matthew didn’t like his Torah portion, as it instructed the people to stone those who worshipped the stars and the moon.  So, he requested stars and a moon on his tallit, and wanted to express tolerance for other cultures, which we did by adding Asian fabric.  read and see more

 

Kasirha's Tallit

Kasirha's mother found me online from Indiana. She designed a tree of life with different colored embroidered flowers. We kept it very bright and feminine with the various colors of threads and silk dupioni corners.  See more

A gift from his wife for their 50th anniversary, Bob's tallit is made from a Cambodian silk of an almost indescribable blue, that fringed a copper color. A copper thread is couched between the stripes.

Daryl wanted a simple but beautiful tallit. She chose a gorgeous olive green silk dupioni, which looked stunning with her eyes, and a complimentary pre-embroidered fabric. We then matched that with a turquoise silk piece for the atarah and corners.
